A BIT ABOUT PETE
Born in South Bend, Indiana, Pete Mroz is a singer-songwriter, storyteller, entrepreneur, and creative visionary whose journey has been shaped by music, resilience, and human connection. Raised in a hardworking family led by a Marine father and waitress mother, Pete spent much of his childhood moving between states, learning adaptability and grit from an early age. As a teenager, time spent at Shiloh Youth Ranch instilled in him a deep respect for hard work, spirituality, and purpose — values that continue to guide both his music and business philosophy today.
At 19, Pete moved to Nashville chasing a dream of becoming the next great country artist. Along the way, he sharpened his craft as a songwriter and performer, recording five albums that showcase his blend of heartfelt storytelling, soulful vocals, and authentic musicianship. Pete gained national recognition when he advanced to the Top 14 on NBC’s The Voice, earning praise for his emotional performances and genuine artistry. He also contributed vocals to the tribute album honoring country legend Eddy Arnold.
Beyond music, Pete is the co-owner of Breedlove Guitars, where he has helped lead the reimagining of the iconic American guitar company with a renewed focus on USA handmade craftsmanship, tone, feel, and artist-inspired innovation. Under his leadership, Breedlove has embraced a musician-first philosophy, combining cutting-edge sound optimization with timeless artistry.
Known for his passion for connection, creativity, and reinvention, Pete Mroz continues to inspire through music, entrepreneurship, and a message centered on authenticity, kindness, and what he calls the most important principle of all: “Be Love.”
